Bascik Transport was established in 1970 by Mervin and Pauline Bascik as a local Christchurch transport provider.
This was a period where the freight industry was heavily regulated.  Once the regulations were slowly lifted, we built a network over many years to service the needs of our growing market.
From the year 2000, Tony Bascik, son of Mervin and Pauline, took over as Managing Director and continued to grow the family business.  During this period, there has been a continued strategy of growing the network and services in an ever-changing transport environment.
Bascik Transport is now the leading service provider of freight into the South Island.  This service standard has been replicated to build a National network.

We own our Warehousing Centres

Our purpose-built, Warehousing and Distribution centres, located throughout the South Island and in Auckland are designed to house your goods, under the best possible conditions; clean, safe and secure. We are independently audited as part of our Food Safety Product to ensure full compliance at all times, as well as having full MPI Accreditation to provide seamless end to end solutions for your requirements.

Our own purpose-built transport and warehousing IT Platform

Your needs are different from other customers, and so are ours when it comes to IT.  We have a highly developed IT system, managed by our in-house IT team, to provide the best solutions for your requirements.  Standard track and trace, and PODs are the basics, along with interactive reporting through Power BI, full management of your requirements with a multitude of options, including secure access to our web-based site, IT and API Integration with milestone updates.
